Star Stana Katic revealed that the crime thriller series has ended with season three.
After Life (Netflix)
From Ricky Gervais, this dark comedy series about a grieving widower comes to a close with season three.
All Access (Syndicated)
A spin-off of the Access Hollywood entertainment news series, this program ends with season two.
All Rise (CBS)
This courtroom drama, about a judge who pushes the boundaries and challenges expectations, was cancelled after two seasons.
American Gods (Starz)
Based on the novel by Neil Gaiman, this fantasy drama series saw a steep decline in viewership in season three and was subsequently cancelled.
American Housewife (ABC)
Following an unconventional mom and her family from Connecticut, this sitcom ran for five seasons before being cancelled.
Americanah (HBO Max)
The streaming service ordered this series but then, due to the pandemic delays and star Lupita Nyong’o having to drop out of the project, the order was cancelled.
Atypical (Netflix)
A coming-of-age comedy-drama about an autistic teen and his family, this series concludes with its fourth season.
Away (Netflix)
An astronaut drama series that was set in the near future, this show didn’t have much of a future. It was cancelled after a season.
The Banker’s Wife (Amazon)
This drama series was to be based on the novel of the same name by Cristina Alger. The series order was cancelled due to COVID-19 delays.
Baroness Von Sketch Show (IFC)
A Canadian sketch comedy series, this show ends after five seasons and 41 total episodes.
Better Call Saul (AMC)
A prequel to Breaking Bad, this dark comedy-drama series ends with its sixth season.
Big Hero 6: The Series (Disney Channel)
Based on the 2014 feature film, this animated series ran for three seasons and 55 episodes. A spin-off called Baymax! has been ordered for Disney+.
Black Lightning (The CW)
Ahead of the season premiere, it was announced that the fourth season would be the end.
Bless the Harts (FOX)
Following a big decline in ratings in this animated family comedy’s second season, the network called it quits.
The Bold Type (Freeform)
The cable channel revealed that the fifth season would also be this drama’s last.
Bonding (Netflix)
A dark comedy that follows a psychology student who moonlights as a dominatrix, this show ran for two seasons.
Bosch (Amazon)
This detective drama series is based on the books by Michael Connelly. It comes to a conclusion with season seven.
Burden of Truth (The CW)
Prior to the fourth season finale airing in Canada (where the series originates), it was revealed that there wouldn’t be a fifth year.
Call Your Mother (ABC)
The alphabet network dropped the Kyra Sedgwick comedy series after one season of 13 episodes.
Carmen Sandiego (Netflix)
The latest series in the Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego? franchise, this animated show has a four-season run.
Castlevania (Netflix)
A dark fantasy animated series based on Japanese video games, this show wraps with season four.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (Netflix)
Based on the Archie comic book series of the same name, this supernatural series lasted for “four parts”, aka two seasons, and a total of 36 episodes before being cancelled.
Conan (TBS)
The late-night talk show comes to an end at the conclusion of its 10th season. Conan O’Brien will host a new variety series on HBO Max.
Connecting… (NBC)
This remotely-filmed comedy series was dropped after four episodes with the remaining four episodes being released online.
Country Comfort (Netflix)
Following a country singer who takes a job as a nanny, this Katharine McPhee and Eddie Cibrian comedy was cancelled after 10 episodes.
The Crew (Netflix)
Set in a NASCAR garage, Kevin James stars in this one-season comedy series.
Dad Stop Embarrassing Me! (Netflix)
A family comedy that was co-created by star Jamie Foxx, this series was cancelled after one season of eight episodes.
Dead to Me (Netflix)
The streaming service formed a multi-year partnership with creator Liz Feldman and announced this comedy would return for a third and final season.
Debris (NBC)
This sci-fi mystery series drew low ratings and was cancelled after one season of 13 episodes.
Doc Martin (Acorn TV)
Starring Martin Clunes in the title role, this British medical comedy-drama comes to a close with 10 seasons.
Don’t Be Tardy… (Bravo)
The cable channel has said goodbye to the Biermann family after eight seasons.
Drunk History (Comedy Central)
This “educational” comedy series was renewed for a seventh and final season but production was halted on season seven due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Duchess (Netflix)
This comedy series from Katherine Ryan ran for just six episodes before being cancelled.
DuckTales (Disney XD)
A reboot of the 1980s series, this show follows the adventures of Scrooge McDuck, Donald Duck, and his trio of nephews. It lasted for three seasons.
Evel (USA Network)
A limited series based on the life of stunt performer Evel Knievel, this show was set to star Milo Ventimiglia in the lead role. Due to production delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the series order was cancelled.
Everything’s Gonna Be Okay (Freeform)
Created by Josh Thomas, this family comedy-drama series ran for two seasons before being cancelled.
F Is for Family (Netflix)
An adult animated family comedy, this show was renewed for a fifth and final season.
Feel Good (Netflix)
A semi-autobiographical comedy series, the streaming service issued a renewal but announced season two would be the end.
Filthy Rich (FOX)
A family drama about a family that runs a successful religious network, this series needed divine assistance. It was cancelled after five of the 10 episodes had aired.
For Life (ABC)
Inspired by the life of wrongly incarcerated Isaac Wright Jr., this drama series was cancelled after two seasons.
Frankie Drake Mysteries (Ovation)
Set in 1920s Toronto, this Canadian series about the first female private detective, her helpers, and their cases, has come to a close with season four.
GLOW (Netflix)
The female wrestling series was initially renewed for a fourth season but that renewal was rescinded due to production delays and COVID-19.
Good Girls (NBC)
A dramedy about three suburban moms who take matters into their own hands after having a hard time making ends meet, this show was cancelled after four seasons.
The Good Lord Bird (Showtime)
Based on the novel by James McBride, this mini-series follows a fictional enslaved boy who becomes a member of a motley family of abolitionist soldiers in 1959.
Good Witch (Hallmark Channel)
Catherine Bell starred as Cassie Nightingale for 13 years in movies and the TV series that followed. The latter was cancelled after seven seasons.
Grand Army (Netflix)
A teen drama that revolves around students at the largest public high school in Brooklyn, this show lasted for just one season of nine episodes.
The Haves and the Have Nots (OWN)
It’s been reported that season eight is the end of this family drama series from Tyler Perry.
Home & Family (Hallmark Channel)
A daytime lifestyle series, this show was cancelled and ends with its ninth season.
Hoops (Netflix)
An animated adult comedy starring Jake Johnson, this series ran for one season and 10 episodes.
I’m Sorry (truTV)
This sitcom was renewed for a third season but then, due to COVID-19 production delays, that order was rescinded and the show was cancelled.
The Irregulars (Netflix)
A British mystery supernatural drama, this show was dropped after one season of eight episodes.
Iyanla: Fix My Life (OWN)
The cable channel announced that this series that stars life coach Iyanla Vanzant ends with season eight.
Insecure (HBO)
It was announced that this comedy series from Issa Rae would end with season five.
Judge Judy (syndicated)
The 25th season of this popular simulated courtroom series is the end but, Judge Judy Sheindlin will star in a new series called Judy Justice.
Jupiter’s Legacy (Netflix)
Though this superhero series has been cancelled, a villain series is in the works.
Keeping Faith (Acorn)
A thriller series from the UK, this show follows a solicitor at a family-run law firm whose husband disappears while she is on maternity leave. It ends with season three.
Keeping Up with the Kardashians (E!)
A reality series that follows the Kardashian-Jenner blended family, this show is ending with season 20. But, will the family ever truly step out of the limelight?
Kim’s Convenience (Netflix)
A family comedy from Canada, it was announced that, despite a sixth season renewal, the show was ending with season five.
LA’s Finest (Spectrum Originals)
A cop series starring Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba, this show was cancelled after two seasons.
The Last Kingdom (Netflix)
A historical fiction series, this show ends with season five.
Last Man Standing (FOX)
A family sitcom starring Tim Allen, this show first aired on ABC for six seasons before being cancelled. It was later revived on FOX for three more seasons. Season nine is the end.
A Little Late with Lilly Singh (NBC)
This late-late-night series ends with season two but the host has a deal with NBCUniversal to create new unscripted content.
Lizzie McGuire (Disney+)
The streaming service ordered an adult revival of the kids series but those plans were later cancelled.
Lost in Space (Netflix)
The streaming service renewed this sci-fi reboot series for a third and final season.
Lou Dobbs Tonight (Fox Business Network)
This popular series was cancelled just short of its 10th anniversary.
Lovecraft Country (HBO)
This horror series is based on a novel by Matt Ruff. A second season was in development but did not move forward.
Lucifer (Netflix)
The streaming service rescued this supernatural cop drama series and ordered a fourth season when it was cancelled by FOX. Netflix later renewed the show for a fifth and final season but then, ordered an additional “final” season.
MacGyver (CBS)
Mac hangs up his bubble gum and paper clips after five seasons and 94 episodes of this reboot series.
Manifest (NBC)
The series creator had a six-year plan for the story but it was cancelled after three seasons.
Mare of Easttown (HBO)
There are currently no plans for a second season but I wouldn’t be surprised if that changes in the future.
Marvel’s Helstrom (Hulu)
Revolving around the son and daughter of a powerful serial killer, this series ran for a single season before being cancelled.
Mixed-ish (ABC)
A prequel to the Black-ish TV series, this sitcom about young “Bow” Johnson was cancelled after two years.
Mom (CBS)
After a season without Anna Faris, Allison Janney and the other ladies are calling it quits. There won’t be a ninth season of this comedy series.
The Moodys (FOX)
To the surprise of no one, this low-rated family comedy series was cancelled after two seasons and a total of 14 episodes.
Mr Inbetween (FX)
A dark-comedy crime series from Australia, this show stars creator Scott Ryan. The story ends with season three.
Mr. Iglesias (Netflix)
A comedy about a teacher who works at his alma mater, this shows cancelled after two seasons (released in three parts) and a total of 21 episodes.
NCIS: New Orleans (CBS)
Starring Scott Bakula, this is the first series in the NCIS franchise (not counting JAG) to be cancelled. There won’t be an eighth season.
neXt (FOX),
This thriller series was going to run over the summer months but was held for the fall schedule, due to the pandemic. It drew low ratings and was cancelled after three episodes.
On Becoming a God in Central Florida (Showtime)
Starring Kirsten Dunst, this dark comedy series was renewed for a second season but that renewal was cancelled due to COVID-19.
Ozark (Netflix)
Revolving around a married couple who moves to the Ozarks for money laundering, this drama wraps up with a fourth and final season.
The Pack (Amazon)
A canine competition series, this show was cancelled following complaints from People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
Panic (Netflix)
Set in a small Texas town, this drama follows a group of high school seniors who compete to make their lives better in a dangerous game. It was cancelled after one season.
The President Is Missing (Showtime)
The cable channel ordered a series based on the novel by Bill Clinton and James Patterson. Production was underway but then, due to the pandemic, the show was cancelled.
Prodigal Son (FOX)
The thriller series was cancelled due to low ratings so, there won’t be a third season on the network.
Queen of the South (USA Network)
The story of Teresa Mendoza (Alice Braga) comes to an end with season five.
Rebel (ABC)
Inspired by the life of activist Erin Brockovich, this drama was cancelled after one season.
The Right Stuff (Disney+)
Revolving around America’s Mercury Seven astronauts, this series ran for one season and eight episodes.
Sexy Beast (Paramount)
This TV series was envisioned as a prequel series to the 2000 dark comedy film of the same name. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 and the ViacomCBS merger, plans for the series were cancelled.
Shameless (Showtime)
Revolving around the dysfunctional Gallagher family, this series’ story wraps up with the 11th season.
Shrill (Hulu)
A comedy starring SNL’s Aidy Bryant, this show ends with its third season.
The Society (Netflix)
A mystery drama, this show was renewed for a second season but that order was later rescinded due to COVID-19 delays.
The Spanish Princess (Starz)
A historical drama series, this show comes to a natural conclusion with season two.
Special (Netflix)
This comedy show, about a gay man with mild cerebral palsy, is based on a memoir by its star, Ryan O’Connell. It ends with season two.
Stumptown (ABC)
The network initially renewed this Cobie Smulders series for a second season but, due to COVID-19 delays, that renewal was cancelled.
Supergirl (The CW)
After six seasons, Kara of Krypton is hanging up her cape.
Superstore (NBC)
The network announced that they were closing the doors of the Cloud 9 Superstore. The sixth season is the end of this workplace comedy.
The Third Day (HBO)
A limited series starring Jude Law and Naomie Harris, this series concluded after six episodes and a special.
Tosh.0 (Comedy Central)
The cable channel renewed this series through season 16 (2024) but Comedy Central later decided to pivot away from making live-action comedy series. So, season 12 is the end of comic Daniel Tosh’s series.
Truth Seekers (Amazon)
Revolving around a team of paranormal investigators, this comedy series was cancelled after one season of eight episodes.
The Unicorn (CBS)
A comedy about a recently widowed father getting back into the dating world, this Walton Goggins was cancelled after two seasons.
Utopia (Amazon)
This thriller series centers on a group of comics fans who try to save the world while trying to find their place in it. It was cancelled after one season.
WandaVision (Disney+)
The superhero series came to a natural end and there are no plans for a second season right now but the door is being left open.
We Are Who We Are (HBO)
The story of Fraser and Caitlin is over, at least for now. The cable channel says there are currently no plans for a second season.
Wife Swap (Paramount)
A reality series about two households switching wives/mothers for two weeks, this series originated on ABC (2004-10, 2013). It was then revived on Paramount for two additional seasons and subsequently cancelled.
Wilmore (Peacock)
A late-night series discussing the November 2020 elections, this show was designed to run one season and ended after 11 episodes.
Wynonna Earp (Syfy)
This supernatural Western series was initially renewed for a fifth season but the cable channel later decided to stop after four years.
Year of the Rabbit (IFC)
Revolving around a group of Victorian detectives, this British series was initially renewed for a second season but that order was cancelled due to COVID-19 delays.
Younger (TV Land)
Starring Sutton Foster, this dramedy series ends with a seventh and final season of 12 episodes.
Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist (NBC)
This quirky musical comedy series drew low ratings and a small but devoted following. It looked like it might move to the Peacock streaming service but instead, it was cancelled after two seasons.
