Australian Shepherd Willy says ‘grace’ at dinner table

An adorable Australian Shepherd dog has been stealing hearts online after a video of him ‘saying grace’ went viral on TikTok.

Willy, who is one, waits for his owner to ‘bless’ his food at the dinner table before he eats it.

The video shows the clever canine pulling up a pew at the table as his owner says “it’s dinner time with Willy”, placing down his bowl, personalised with his name.

Any other dog would have their nose in the bowl faster than you could say kibble, but @officialwillygooddog lives up to his good boy name and waits patiently for his owner to say a prayer first.

In the video – which has amassed 4.7million views – Willy holds his paw out at the table for his owner to hold.

You can hear his owner say: “Let us pray. Dear heavenly Father, thank you for this amazing meal that mom prepared for us. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.”

Willy waits until the end of grace before eating his meal, and even waits to be excused from the table when he’s done.
