During the pandemic, many Netflix subscribers enjoyed binging Too Hot To Handle. Season 2 dropped at the end of June, leaving many fans wondering if there will be a Too Hot To Handle Season 3.
According to Cosmopolitan, there will indeed be a third season of everyone’s favorite torrid dating show.
“Netflix decided to keep the party going at the villa with another season of fun and plenty of rule-breaking. The show was originally renewed for a second and third season at the same time, so it’s not a shock that it’s making a grand return,” the publication recently wrote.
The article goes on to say that Netflix filmed Seasons 2 and 3 back to back. In other words, filming is already over and production likely is too. If this is true, then we’re all just waiting for Netflix to release the new season.
Even though filming and production for Too Hot To Handle Season 3 are over, Netflix is keeping the cast list a secret for now. We’ll likely get to know the cast of Season 3 shortly before the launch date, whenever that is.
How will Netflix get contestants to appear On Too Hot To Handle Season 3?
If you watched Season 2, you know that contestants really thought they were going to be on a show called Parties In Paradise. According to the Cosmopolitan article, producers used the same trick on Season 3 contestants. The trick works for now since no one saw Season 2 yet. But if a Season 4 ever comes, producers definitely need to come up with a new trick to get contestants.
If people see casting calls for Parties In Paradise, they might just run for the hills. However, Netflix hasn’t renewed Too Hot To Handle for Season 4 yet. We’ll all just have to wait and see what Netflix comes up with next.
What happened to Season 2’s castmates?
Although Season 2 castmates broke a lot more rules than the first season, strong relationships still blossomed. Fan favorites Cam and Emily are still going strong after finishing their run on the show. The two frequently make appearances on each other’s Instagram accounts and appear to be very much in love.
Carly and Joey are also still together after leaving the show as a couple. However, Melinda and Marvin split up. Many fans felt confident they would go the distance, but the pair called it quits. Melinda went on to form a relationship with castmate Peter and it appears the two are still together.
