According to the Mirror, Arsenal are looking at Bernardo Silva as an alternative to James Maddison, after Manchester City signed Jack Grealish.
What’s the story?
Well, following the £100m arrival of Grealish, Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Silva wants to leave the Etihad Stadium.
Arsenal are trying to find their own Grealish, and are interested in signing Leicester maestro Maddison.

However, should that pursuit prove too difficult, the Gunners may turn their attentions to Silva, who cost Manchester City £43.6m.
The Mirror believe the 26-year-old is keen on a move to Spain, but the financial situation of La Liga clubs might make a deal impossible.
As a result, the 59-cap Portugal international could end up staying in England.
Mikel Arteta, of course, knows the £150,000-a-week maestro well from his time as Guardiola’s assistant at the Etihad Stadium.
Gary Lineker thinks he’s delightful
One man who thinks very highly of the Manchester City No.20 is Gary Lineker.
After Silva scored against Manchester United at Old Trafford, the BBC Match of the Day host described him as a ‘delightful’ player.
You can see Lineker’s tweet from January 2020 in full below.

In our view, it would be a major coup for Arsenal if they signed Silva.
The silky playmaker could walk into most sides across Europe, and at 26, he’s still got many years left at the top level.
If Arteta and Edu can pull this off, it would arguably be the signing of the summer.
