Y&R fans will recall that the business mogul has a reputation for being ruthless. A fact that earned him the nickname, The Locke Ness Monster. However, we haven’t seen much of his ruthlessness since his arrival.
Instead, we have seen a loving father. We have also seen him come to terms with an alleged terminal illness. Best of all we watched him and Victoria merge their business and personal lives. It appears that the two have fallen hard and fast. So much so that they have announced their intentions to get married right away. Many Young And The Restless fans are thrilled with this union. But is Ashland Locke a wolf in sheep’s clothing? Y&R spoilers tease Victoria is just a means to taking over Newman Enterprises. It may be possible that he is in cahoots with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner). Will he be found out before it’s too late?
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Will Victor Expose Ashland?
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will let the couple think they have his approval. However, Y&R spoilers for the week of August 16 to August 20 reveal The Mustache will have Ashland investigated. You wouldn’t expect any less from the concerned father. The results. of the investigation may uncover Ashland’s true motives. For instance, maybe he is not marrying Victoria out of love.
He may be out for some type. of revenge. After all, Victor did make him sign over his media company while in the throws of a heart attack. Maybe his goal from the start was getting his hands on Newman Enterprises. He did grow close to the Newman CEO. Also, he confided in her that he was dying. It is possible he anticipated Victoria’s suggestion that they merge companies. That was quite a coup for her. But will there be some type of loophole that causes her to lose the family business?
Is Tara Ashland’s Partner In Crime?
Victoria loves Ashland. The fact that she is willing to marry a dying man proves that. Nevertheless, she may overlook some important details due to his illness, if he is truly dying. For example, there has been no talk of a prenup. It would be very easy to fool her about his illness. She has not spoken to his doctors. Nor has she accompanied him to his treatments. So he may live a long life. Even if she decides to walk away her company may be in jeopardy. Ashland may have had a partner in crime, Tara Locke. She conveniently exposed her affair with Kyle and fled to Genoa City. She did a great job of making their separation messy and public. One might think she did that to get back at her ex Ashland Locke but was it a ploy? It certainly made Victoria sympathetic to Ashland. Did she end up at the Abbots just to land Kyle? What if they were a power-hungry duo that was after Jabot too? Her unexpected arrest may have put a crimp in those plans. On the other hand, Ashland may have actually fallen in love with Victoria.
