Real Housewives of Potomac has hit a pivotal point in its current season. We’ve finally witnessed the Great Salad Toss of 2021 between Candiace Dillard and Mia Thornton. Karen Huger and Gizelle Bryant have somehow been able to get past their forever feud to make jokes about teabagging, which is growth.
And Zen Wendy Osefo’s trip to try to create Good Vibes Only with the group somehow made tensions worse. Ashley Darby showed up solo to have a few Coronas, stir the pot and go to bed next to her portrait of Michael Darby. We love a classic messy group trip.
RHOP has been top-tier this season, but it always has been. No wonder Nicki Minaj showed up to the reunion taping — real recognizes real. And while I’m sure she had quite a few questions for Miss CandeePants, I hope she ready Mrs. Darby down for becoming the unofficial third green-eyed bandit this season. And all of the pot-stirring that comes with that.
But apparently, Ashley isn’t totally in tune with everything going on on RHOP. She appeared on Watch What Happens Live this week with Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Mary Cosby to drink some Coronas and spill some tea. And Ashley revealed that she only watches her own scenes on RHOP. That explains a lot.
Andy Cohen began by asking Mary if she watches the entire episodes of RHOSLC when she receives the cut of the episode, or if she only watches scenes that she’s in.
Andy claims Teresa Giudice is one of those Real Housewives stars who only watches her own scenes if she even watches the show at all. And Ashley was trying to avoid answering the question after Mary says she watched the full RHOSLC episodes.
“Huh? Oh,” Ashley joked, making a face that showed she’s guilty. “I was like, ‘Who’s been talking,” Ashley added. So she spilled the beans that she doesn’t tune into the other ladies’ moments on the show. But that’s probably why she’s so strong with her convictions without recognizing her own place in the problems. But truthfully, I don’t get how any person with a cable subscription isn’t watching RHOP week after week. That’s the real problem with this situation.
