As No Time to Die ‘s long-awaited London premiere heralds hopes for the revival of British cinema,

Daniel Craig has spoken about his “emotional” exit as James Bond. The royal family was present at the Royal Albert Hall in London, with Prince Charles, Prince William, the Duchess of Cambridge, and the Duchess of Cornwall in attendance.

This is the biggest British film premiere since the Covid-19 pandemic broke out. Bond producers chose to repeatedly push back the release date in the hopes of a worldwide theatrical release, even as other films opted for digital releases on streaming services.

Cinema chains are hoping that the return of one of British cinema’s greatest icons will bring in some much-needed bums on seats when the film debuts on Thursday. “I honestly didn’t think we’d get here, but we did, and this is amazing,” Craig said on the red carpet on Tuesday. I’m very proud of it; we made it for the cinema, and we’re going to see it on а big screen this evening, which is exаctly where Bond movies belong. ”
