Thomas Jacobs is speaking out about his experience on The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise. He made plenty of enemies during Katie Thurston’s season of the show. He made the mistake of voicing out loud his desire to possibly be The Bachelor one day. Thomas went on BIP looking for a second shot at love after ruthlessly being sent home by Katie. What does Thomas say about his behavior and about not having any regrets?
Thomas Jacobs talks behavior on the franchise
E! News shared a glimpse into an upcoming podcast interview Thomas Jacobs participated in. The full interview with Bryan Abasolo and Mike Johnson will be released on Monday. However, here is some of what Thomas had to say about his time on Katie’s season and on Bachelor in Paradise.
Thomas said, “You’re not going to please everybody. One of the reasons why I think things went so sideways for me because I was running around trying to make everyone as happy as possible at all times and more often than not, if you’re doing that, you’re doing it at the sacrifice of yourself.”
Another thing Thomas admits is that he failed himself. He said one should never abandon who they are. He realizes now he was not his true self.
Thomas also said, “All of sudden, I’m emotionally charged, I’m just going to dive in into this like a bull in a china shop and it just didn’t work because I wasn’t true to who I was.” He continued, “Anything that you do, how you show up here is how you show up everywhere and that’s why in all of this, I wouldn’t change a damn thing because of the perspective that it gave.”
Thomas also says he is proud of how he handled himself. He didn’t resort to name-calling even when others were coming at him. Through it all, he feels he was level-headed.
His time on BIP
Thomas isn’t ready to kiss and tell. However, fans are hearing rumors he has some strong chemistry with Becca Kufrin. He won’t give up if he’s single or not. However, Thomas said, “I will say I’m at a point in my life where I am extremely happy and I’m not wanting for anything else. I wake up and the people that I’m surrounded with, those are the people I want to actively choose to be with and to continue to grow with and continue to surround myself with and what that leads to, we’ll find out. But I’m enjoying every single second of it as we’re going through it.”
Just earlier today, Thomas went to Instagram to share a photo of himself in Mexico. He captioned, “Looking out for these “wrong reasons” people mention yet haven’t seen any ¯_(ツ)_/¯ #Paradise #2020vision.”
