‘BIP’ Connor B. Responds To Lance Bass Accusations

In a recent interview with Nick Viall, Lance Bass seemingly slammed Connor B. and his reasons for being on Bachelor in Paradise. Lance is entitled to his opinion of course. However, Connor isn’t sitting back and taking the criticism lightly. Keep reading to find out what Lance and Connor B. both had to say.

Lance Bass seemingly slams Connor B. and he isn’t taking it

Lance recently appeared on The Viall Files with Nick Viall to discuss his time guest hosting BIP. While on the podcast, Lance discussed Connor Brennan. It seems Lance doesn’t fully believe that Connor B. is there to find love. US Weekly shared what each had to say. Lance said, “You can tell he’s a very sweet guy, but I’m not convinced he’s there to find love. I definitely see him on there trying to start his country career like a lot of people do on that show.”

He went on to say it seemed as if Connor B. was only concerned about if his song made the cut on The Bachelorette. Apparently since BIP was filming, the cast didn’t get to see episodes of Katie Thurston’s season of the show. So, Connor asked Lance what was happening and if he’d seen it.

Lance said, “I had watched The Bachelorette season and they had never seen an episode yet because they were filming when they started it. So I had seen the first few episodes so I knew exactly what went down, I knew the Thomas [Jacobs] story and all that. And [Connor] was like, ‘Wait, did my song make it? Did my song make it?’” He continued, “I’m like, ‘Yeah, I think your song made it.’ But that was, like, the only thing he was concerned about, was if his song made the cut.”

Connor B. didn’t take the criticism lying down. He clapped back at Lance via Twitter. He said, “‘he’s there for his music’ ‘enough with the uke’ ‘ugh he’s cringey and annoying’ – f*ck OFF and let me play my dumb little songs for people; it’s my way to try and bring a little joy. kindness is free #BachelorInParadise.”

Connor B. having a rough time on the beach but still defends others

Connor made his Bachelor franchise debut on Katie Thurston’s season of the show. Fans were excited to see him on the beaches of Mexico this summer. He hit it off with Maurissa Gunn. However, she quickly moved on to Riley Christian. In fact, these two made it to the famous “boom boom room.”

Some fans weren’t very kind to Maurissa over being intimate with Riley on their first date. Becca Kufrin and also Connor B. defended her. Connor went to Twitter to say, “final thought for the night, and i can’t even believe this needs to be addressed: riley and maurissa slander in any form will NOT be tolerated. what two gorgeous consenting adults do on a date is none of my business, much less anyone watching this back #bachelorinparadise.”

What do you think about Connor? Is he there for the wrong reasons?

Stay tuned for more updates.
