It’s been a crazy week for Brendan Morais. Going on Bachelor in Paradise has proved to be a bad thing for Brendan Morais. Cameras caught him and Pieper James talking about how many followers they had on Instagram. They also basically admitted to a preshow relationship. The fallout has been harsh for both of them. Fans and alums have spoken out against Brendan and Pieper. Brendan has lost thousands of followers in a matter of 48 hours. Now, Brendan has issued a statement.
Brendan Morais issues statement about BIP drama
Brendan went to Instagram Stories to issue a statement about the fallout he’s been feeling since Monday and Tuesday night’s episodes aired. He also deleted his pool pic with the caption that read, “here for the wrong reasons.”
His statement said, “After taking time to begin to process the events that unfolded over the past few days, I have realized I was wrong on so many different levels. First of all I removed my last post from my feed. I posted it before the episode aired and had no idea the magnitude of hurt that I caused.”
Brendan continued, My approach to many things in life is sarcasm.” He admits his post about here for the wrong reasons was insensitive. He went on to say, “Most importantly I apologize to you Natasha. I hurt you. I am deeply sorry for doing so.”
Brendan went on to say he knows the damage has already been done. He acknowledged that all he can do now is move forward and own up to his errors.
He also said that he and Pieper had misunderstandings going into Paradise. Brendan said if anyone feels the need to express disdain for the situation to do so at his expense. He took complete responsibility and said a full statement and apology will follow.
Brendan and Pieper have both faced consequences
Brendan has been a fan favorite in Bachelor Nation until now. Just in a matter of 48 hours, Brendan has gone from 337k followers to roughly 267k followers. Pieper has also lost thousands of followers. However, Natasha Parker has gained over 100k and her numbers continue to grow.
Natasha and Demi Burnett have both felt disrespected by Brendan and expressed as much via social media. In fact, Demi made a TikTok saying how she can’t believe she wanted to take him to the boom, boom room.
