Britney Spears thanked fans on Instagram writing that their resilience has helped as her father was removed as conservator of her estate.
A judge ruled that it was no longer in Britney’s best interest to have her father Jamie Spears in charge, and has handed the reins to John Zabel until December 31.
The singer, 39, has been holidaying on a tropical Island with fiancé Sam Asghari, 27, to celebrate the news as she took to social media to thank supporters.
She posted: “#FreeBritney movement … I have no words … because of you guys and your constant resilience in freeing me from my conservatorship … my life is now in that direction!!!!!” she shared.
“I cried last night for two hours cause my fans are the best and I know it…
“I feel your hearts and you feel mine … that much I know is true!!!!!”

In recent days, the hitmaker told her supporters that while she’s happy her life is moving in the right direction after all these years, she is still learning to heal from the ‘abuse’ she suffered.
“Although there is change and things to celebrate in my life, I still have a lot of healing to do,” the pop star wrote on Instagram.
Her father has strongly protested against his removal, but fans of the singer were over the moon with the decision which marked the end of Jamie’s controversial control over his daughter’s life.
Following the fast-paced developments in what was once a very slow-moving case, the judge has now set a date of November 12 on whether the conservatorship will be terminated.
