Can Giants Take Down The Cowboys?

Daniel Jones won the second NFC Offensive Player of the Week award of his career. His first? It came in his NFL debut against the Bucs way back in 2019. It’s taken a while for Jones to have a monster game like he did down in New Orleans. Can he turn 402 yards and a big first win of the season into a nice run with Big Blue going into a difficult divisional matchup against the 3-1 Cowboys?

To preview that game in Dallas, we bring you a new episode of the “Blue Rush” podcast with Lawrence Tynes and Paul Schwartz. On the second half of the pod, Paul and I interview Tynes about growing up in Scotland, playing soccer, how he became a kicker and which of the two Giants Super Bowl teams he liked more.

Blue Rush Podcast with Paul, Lawrence & Jake:

  • JONES: This is a meaningful award for him. This can build him up the rest of the season. He’s played well and has avoided turning the ball over as much. Giants need to get the running game going this week, though.
  • DEFENSE: The defense has been a bit concerning. The Giants need to get more of a pass rush going, especially against Dak Prescott. He has been a Giants killer and they have not won in Dallas in five years.
  • GIANTS-COWBOYS PREVIEW: Giants defense has its work cut out for it against the explosive Cowboys offense. Lawrence believes the Cowboys are due for a down week and thinks the Giants win. Me and Paul take the Cowboys. Sarah takes the Giants.
  • INTERVIEWING LAWRENCE: Paul and I interview Lawrence about growing up in Scotland, playing soccer, coming to Florida, going to Troy State, how football came about in high school and which Giants Super Bowl team he liked more.
