Cardi B has welcomed her second baby into the world with her husband Offset – after giving birth at a hospital near New York on September 4.
The US rapper, 28, announced the big news as she shared a sweet snap of her and her fellow rapper Offset in hospital with the little one.
Taking to Instagram to update her whopping 108m followers, she wrote: “9/4/21” – the date her latest bub was born.
Although the gender of the baby hasn’t been confirmed yet, the new mum-of-two hinted that her baby is a boy as added a blue love-heart emoji to the post.
Cardi and Offset could be seen staring down lovingly at their new baby which was wrapped in a fluffy blue blanket.
It comes after the WAP rapper made a surprise announcement that she was pregnant again in June this year during a performance at the BET Awards.
At the live event, she performed alongside Offset and the rest of his hip hop trio, Migos, and flaunted a revealing outfit which highlighted her growing baby bump – a jumpsuit with a cutout around her stomach.
The singer later confirmed the news on social media, taking to Twitter to share a stunning snap from a photoshoot where she could be seen sporting a large baby bump.
Alongside the elegant photo on Monday (6 September), she penned the caption: “#2 @OffsetYRN” as she attached an emoji of a love heart.
Cardi B and Offset already share their daughter Kulture, who is three-years-old and was born in July 2018.
The pair began dating in early 2017 before they became engaged in October that year.
In June 2018, it was reported by TMZ that Cardi B and Offset had already tied the knot in secret after finding a marriage license – just one month before the public proposal.
Cardi B later confirmed the marriage on social media before she gave birth to her first baby in July that year.
Although the couple had previously separated, with the I Like It songstress announcing the split on Instagram in December 2018, the pair later got back together.
The celebrity couple have made numerous public appearances at award shows, and in February 2019 the two shared the stage as Cardi B gave her acceptance speech for Best Rap Album at the Grammys.
Last year, Cardi B had reportedly filed for divorce from the rapper, but the next month it was discovered that they were back together.
