Home Television CBS Morning News Steals Sunday Morning Theme Song, Moves to Times Square,…
Hell has arrived.
“CBS Morning News” has stolen the theme music of “Sunday Morning,” dropped the word “News” from its title, and moved to Times Square.
The show is now called “CBS Mornings.” News is gone. There’s not even a pretense of it.
Ironically, in stealing the “Sunday Morning” music, they’ve also dropped Anthony Mason, their most experienced journalist, and a star also of “Sunday Morning.”
In Mason’s place is Nate Burleson, a former NFL player.
Dropping “news” from the title and moving to Times Square means the show is going to be more “GMA” like, in other words, Jackals and game shows.
Did you know Tony Doukoupil was a hair model? Not surprised.
Among the CBS universe of talent. I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of Drew Barrymore and less of Norah O’Donnell.
We’ve got some personal news… we’ll soon be moving to our brand new studio in Times Square!
We’ll also have a new name and theme when @NateBurleson joins @GayleKing and @TonyDokoupil at the table beginning September 7.
