The official PV trailer for the upcoming anime adaptation of Chainsaw Man has just premiered and fans are, rightfully, losing their minds!
Whilst I can’t speak for every Chainsaw Man fan, let alone any anime fan who has interest enough to watch a Japanese Livestream event, but MAPPA has truly delivered once again.
The animation studio has gone from strength to strength in recent years, culminating in thee studio becoming one of the most talked-about production companies in the game.
At their recent anniversary event, the studio finally released the first PV trailer for the highly-anticipated series, Chainsaw Man.

Chainsaw Man dominates MAPPA event…
The anime adaptation was rumored to be in production in December, with the series being officially announced with the release of a promotional poster.
In the following weeks, there was confirmation that MAPPA would be at the helm and that the first look would premiere at their 10th Anniversary event in Summer 2021.
Leading up to the event, fans were excited to see what new information on Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Yasuke and takt op. Destiny.
However, before the live stream had even started, both ‘MAPPA’ and ‘Chainsaw Man’ were trending on social media both here in the UK and around the world.

As soon as the trailer started, fans in both the YouTube live stream chat and on Twitter started going berserk.
Let’s get this straight, the Chainsaw Man TV series could be the next major success story in the anime industry, so there was some serious pressure on MAPPA to get the trailer right.
Thankfully, it appears that everyone, fans both past and present, is now excited for this iconic manga adaptation.

Despite the Chainsaw Man PV being pre-animated you can see the vision they have for the anime is strong. The staff they announced is so phenomenal all around the board that I fully trust them. Such a good PV I’ll be rewatching a few times until the release.
