Club legend claims it’s time for Arsenal 26-year-old to leave

Kevin Campbell told the Highbury Squad that the time has come for Hector Bellerin to leave Arsenal.

The Arsenal legend also stated that for Bellerin himself it is best that he leaves and has a ‘refresh’ in his career.

That once fresh-faced teenager that came through the Emirates ranks via Barcelona, once had the speed and forward-thinking drive to frighten many an opposition defender.

However, it’s his own supporters that sit at the edge of their seats worried now because his performance have slowly stagnated on a yearly basis.

That’s why Campbell feels it’s the right time for Bellerin to leave the club. 

“I think everybody knows and agrees that Bellerin has had his time,” said Campbell. 

“I think even Bellerin needs a refresh.”

It seems as though Bellerin is heading for the North London exit door and there are suggestions that his agent has spoken to Edu about his client leaving. 

Whilst the Gunners have brought in their big-money centre-back signing in Ben White this summer.

Many fans are questioning when they will invest to bring in a right-sided fullback because it is an area of concern. 

Other than Bellerin, Cedric Soares can play that role, as well as Calum Chambers. 

But the latter isn’t a natural in that position and Cedric hasn’t exactly pulled up trees since his free transfer to the club.
