Richard Steinmetz has begun a recurring stint as Judge Robert Smails, the corrupt magistrate Gwen (Emily O’Brien) attempted to blackmail. The veteran actor has a daytime history dating back to Loving, where he played Jeff Hartman from 1989 to 1993. He also portrayed Martin Fitzgerald on Passions from 2004 to 2007 and Joe Scully Jr. on General Hospital in 2012.

John Aniston is back for more airtime as Victor Kiriakis. Look for the family patriarch to pull some strings to get his nephews, Justin (Wally Kurth) and Xander (Paul Telfer), out of the slammer.

Days of our Lives History

DAYS made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
