DWTS Star Olivia Jade is Ready to Support Her Mom Lori Loughlin’s Return to Acting

After serving time for her involvement in the college admissions scandal, Lori Loughlin is finally set to return to acting. Her daughter, Olivia Jade Giannulli, is ready to support her.

This week, Olivia Jade Giannulli and her “Dancing with the Stars” partner professional dancer, Val Chmerkovskiy, were interviewed by Entertainment Tonight after their appearance on the dance show.

During the interview, Giannulli, 22, spoke about how she feels that her mother, Lori Loughlin, would be returning to acting. Last year Loughlin was sentenced to serve prison time for her involvement in the college admissions scandal.

The actress spent less than two months in prison for her part in the high-profile case and is now set to star on Great American Country Network’s (GAC) “When Hope Calls.” She will be reprising her role as the character Abigail Stanton.

The upcoming movie is a spinoff series of “When Calls the Heart,” which aired on the Hallmark Channel. The young influencer showed support for her mother’s upcoming role, stating:

“I’m super excited for her.”

Speaking to Access Hollywood about her mother’s return to acting, the model also confessed that the situation was hard to talk about. She said she didn’t want to say something wrong about her mother, adding:

“I love her, I’m proud of her.”

Giannulli told the publication that she was happy the “Full House” actress was back to work. While also admitting she was also glad for her own opportunity to work on the ABC dance competition.

The publication claimed the star [Lori Loughlin] was allowed to stay in the country for about a week…

Loughlin’s fans will be able to see her on the December 18, 2021, premiere. On the same day, the network will also air a Christmas special titled “When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas.”

In 2019, when the actress was implicated in the college admissions scandal, “When Calls the Heart” had completed season 6’s production. The Hallmark Channel series had to go on a brief hiatus to restructure.

Three months later, the show was back, but Loughlin’s scenes had been removed from the last seven episodes of the season. Instead, in episode 4, it was revealed that Stanton had left town with her adopted son.

Loughlin is currently on probation, and news that she might start acting again broke last month. At the time, Mercury News said a Boston federal judge had given the actress permission to travel to Canada.

The publication claimed the star was allowed to stay in the country for about a week from late September to early October. It said her travels were for “a filming production project.”
