Eminem’s ex-wife, Kim Scott, was rushed to a hospital following a reported suicide attempt and fought with law enforcement after they arrived on the scene.
According to reports, emergency responders along with the police responded to Kim’s home on July 30, for a call for a suicidal person. Kim lives in the famous rapper’s home state of Michigan. After the authorities arrived, Kim was reportedly very combative and had to be restrained by the officers. The situation was so bad, paramedics were unable to check her vital signs.
Upon arrival, authorities reportedly say Kim had cut herself and has several small cuts on the back of her leg which left a large amount of blood on the floor in the house. Obviously, following the incident, Kim was rushed to a local hospital where she is being treated medically and was forced to undergo a psychological evaluation. According to one report, she is now back at home and recovering, but it’s unclear if she is receiving further treatment.
Eminem’s Ex-Wife Reportedly Attempted To Take Her Own Life In The Past
Unfortunately, according to reports, this isn’t the first time Kim has attempted to take her own life. A similar situation was reported in October 2015. At the time, she reportedly told Detroit’s Channel 955: “I never expected to make it out of that alive. I apologized immensely. I did not even expect to make it through that, and I told [police] that I tried to do this on purpose.”
Kim thanked the rapper for his support after the suicide attempt, saying, “He’s been real supportive. We’re really close. We’re just trying to raise our kids together and make it as normal for them as possible.”
As you know, Kim was married to the famous rapper from 1999 to 2001, when they got divorced. The ex-couple was briefly remarried in 2006 for a few months. The two share a daughter, Hailie Jade.

The rapper actually penned a controversial track – ‘Kim’ – which appeared on his 200s ‘The Marshall Mathers LP.’ At this point, Hailie is in her 20’s, and the two have not been together for quite some time.

The pair met as teenagers in 1989 when Kim ran away from her home with sister Dawn, and moved into a then 15-year-old Eminem’s home at a Michigan trailer park.
As we said, it’s unclear if Kim is receiving outpatient treatment for her ongoing issues, but she is reportedly currently at home and recovering.
