How much does it really cost to be Erika Jayne? Apparently, it doesn’t cost $40,000 per month to be her. According to a new report, it could cost as much as $2 million per month. Erika loves her glam, but it could cost her. As fans know, she’s part of an ongoing embezzlement case. Things blew up for the reality star and her estranged husband Thomas Girardi amid their divorce.

When Erika filed for divorce, she had no idea what was coming. However, she did tease about the storm that’s about the brew on Season 11 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Erika denies that she was aware of her ex-husband’s financial situation and business dealings. The court is looking into her finances since the embezzled money ended up in her account.

RHOBH star claimed it cost $40,000 a month to be her

Back in 2017, Erika Jayne revealed it costs $40,000 a month to be her. She spoke to In Touch about her lavish lifestyle. The Bravo star admitted that it’s “a lot” to look and be like her. Erika made it clear that she spent a lot of money on her persona.

“Maybe $40,000 a month on clothes, shoes, and accessories,” she said. “But it’s all for work. I’m on television, this is what I do for a living. It’s part of the job.”

At the time, Erika was a contestant on Dancing with the Stars. She also admitted to getting Botox and filler injections. The Pretty Mess author had a full hair and makeup team. Since then, she had to downgrade her lifestyle and drive her own vehicle.

Erika Jayne spent over $25 million on glam

A new bombshell report came out on Friday, August 20. It revealed how Erika Jayne allegedly spent $25 million in funds from Thomas Girardi’s law firm, Girardi Keese. The television personality spent over $14 million in purchases on her American Express card. Also, she spent over $11 million on her dance agency, glam squad, PR firms, and other necessities.

On Thursday, August 19, the Daily Mail reported that the lawyers working for the trustee appointed to Girardi Keese’s bankruptcy case sent a letter to Erika’s attorney. The letter will be reportedly be filed with the bankruptcy court. Thomas’ firm allegedly transferred the $25 million to Erika’s company, EJ Global LLC.

From 2008 to 2020, Erika paid $1.5 million to the McDonald Selznick Associates Agency, the dance agency that consists of her choreographers and dancers. This is on top of the over $14 million and over $.14 million she spent on unknown purchases. What’s also interesting is that EJ Global LLC reportedly paid $102,596.77 to Kim Kardashian’s former assistant, Stephanie Shepherd.

She also spent thousands of dollars to her makeup artist, various public relations firms and publications, the Los Angeles Times Magazine, and E5 Global Media, which publishes articles for Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter.

Erika Jayne denies allegations via her attorney. Her lawyer called Page Six’s report “malicious” and says the allegations are a “reckless publicity grab.” However, if it is true, she probably spent over $2 million to become her. After all, EJ Global is what made Erika who she is today.
