Fan apparently predicted Molly-Mae Hague’s PLT news on Twitter the day before

A social media wizard seemingly predicted Molly-Mae Hague’s new role at PrettyLittleThing (PLT) and people are freaking out.

On Thursday, the Love Island star, 22, announced that she’d been named the fast-fashion brand’s new UK and EU creative director, saying she was “beyond ecstatic” at the new gig.

Yesterday the 22-year-old influencer unleashed a torrent of speculation about a potential career move after she shared a TikTok of herself unwrapping a £37,400 Cartier bracelet (as you do) explaining that she was treating herself.

“Signing one of the biggest deals of my career calls for one thing,” she said.

“A well done to myself,” she added.

Earlier in the week, Hague shared cryptic posts on Instagram, writing in one: “Guys I’m announcing something SO HUGE on Thursday it still doesn’t feel real.”

She also posted a picture of herself in sand-coloured cords with a chunky gold belt with the words ‘Molly-Mae by PrettyLittleThing’ – giving away vital clues.

So, people knew something was up but they didn’t know exactly what.

And yet, on Wednesday night one Twitter user apparently put the pieces of the puzzle together:

People were shocked and amazed and by the prediction, including the original poster who said they should start playing the lottery:

PrettyLittleThing also picked up on the guess and said Hague wanted to gift them a voucher in return:

So there you have it: Hague has a new career as a creative director, and one of her fans looks set to become a successful clairvoyant. Everyone’s a winner.
