Fantasia Barrino recently took to social media with pictures that flaunted her post-pregnancy figure as she posed in a floral outfit alongside her husband. Her journey to motherhood was not an easy one — learn more about it.
Motherhood agrees with Fantasia Barrino! Netizens love the glow of it on her, and she has not been shy about flaunting it. In fact, on Wednesday, the talented singer updated her Instagram page with two pictures that immediately snagged the attention of hundreds.
The first photo only featured Fantasia; she stood smiling happily with her gaze fixed on something in the distance. She hardly looked like someone who just welcomed a baby months ago.

Her curvy body was clad in a one-piece floral outfit with a plunging neckline that showcased some cleavage. She accessorized with jewelry and a pair of sleek heels.
The second image on the slide she shared captured her posing with her husband, Kendall Taylor. He looked handsome in a short-sleeved black shirt and a white pair of trousers. He completed the outfit with a pair of white sneakers.

Fantasia did not have a lot to say about the photos in her caption, but the same could not be said of her fans, and the comment section was filled with heartwarming declarations and compliments, all of which was well deserved.
The shot captured Fantasia in front of him, pulling on his neck chain with a suggestive look on her face.
Things have been going great for Fantasia this past couple of months; she welcomed her daughter in May and also celebrated her oldest child’s 20th birthday.
The proud mother hardly ever misses her children’s milestones — a testament to how seriously she takes her responsibility as a mother. Here are some things people don’t know about the singer.
A MOM OF THREE
Fantasia was a single mother for a long time because she welcomed her first child Zion when she was just a teenager herself.
So the two practically grew up alongside each other, and it is why they share such a close relationship. Even though they already had kids from their previous respective relationships, they yearned for a child of their own.
Aside from Zion, Fantasia also has two other kids; Dallas Xavier, whom she had around the time she was seeing Antwaun Cook, and Keziah, whom she gave birth to in May.
Little Keziah arrived a little earlier than scheduled, so Fantasia had to leave her behind in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). She stayed there for some time, and when the proud mother was cleared to take her home, she let her fans know.
A week after taking Keziah home, Fantasia took her to church, perhaps as a way of expressing gratitude to the God she serves for granting her heart’s desire.
A JOURNEY THAT WENT ON FOR YEARS
Having her first two children was relatively easy compared to what she had to pass through on her third try. But then, it took her and Taylor about three years to get her to conceive naturally.
She has been very candid about what they had to go through, and fans have praised her for having the guts to share her vulnerabilities.
The talented singer and her husband got married in 2015, and even though they already had kids from their previous respective relationships, they yearned for a child of their own.
So they started trying, and even though things looked bleak, they kept hoping. Eventually, they stopped trying so hard, and it was all they needed to become parents.
Their daughter was conceived, and Fantasia carried her for as long as possible. Given all they went through just to welcome the little tot, it is no surprise both parents are very particular about her.
