Funny moment girls bump into ‘Cristiano Ronaldo’ lookalike in local Aldi

Taking a stroll through your local supermarket usually is not the most exciting thing.

Perhaps you may bump into a neighbour or more weirdly a pigeon.

However, these two girls were left gobsmacked when they came across a ‘football star’ while food shopping.

TikTok user @teagantierney0 took to the social media video sharing app to claim that she and a friend met Cristiano Ronaldo in their local Aldi in Bearwood, Birmingham.

In the popular clip, two girls can be seen following a man wearing a black jacket and joggers whilst he carried a basket around the supermarket.

The alleged star struck fan added text to the video that claimed: “We met Ronaldo in Aldi.”

However, unfortunately for the girls this was a case of mistaken identity as the man was not the sport sensation once thought to be.

The lookalike can be seen exiting the shop with two shopping bags to finally reveal his uncanny resemblance to the Portuguese football star.

Hilariously, some people on the social media platform have even dubbed the man as “Ron-Aldi.”

People quickly took to the comments to provide their thoughts on the lookalike blunder.

One person commented: “I don’t think that Ronaldo will buy food from cheap shops but I think he can buy the whole shop if he wants.”

Another user joked: “That’s Ronaldo from eBay.”
