Things are getting intense as Bachelor Nation wonders and speculate who will be named as the next Bachelor. Reality Steve came forward and said he’s heard that the new lead will be Greg Grippo. Of course, fans know Greg from Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette. Fans accused Greg of “gaslighting” her when he ultimately up and left the show. Katie herself even threw that term around and let him have it on After The Final Rose. Steve seemed fairly certain Greg would be the new lead. In fact, he said he would be very surprised if he wasn’t The Bachelor. Now, reports are flying around that one of Greg’s family members responded to Steve. What is going on?
Greg Grippo family member reportedly responds to Reality Steve
Following Steve’s tweet announcing Greg would most likely be named as the next Bachelor a family member reportedly responded. First of all, let’s recap what Steve said. He tweeted, “What I’ve been hearing the past 5 days or so regarding the next Bachelor are this…been told it’s going to be Greg. Obviously it’s never “official” until ABC announces it (whenever that may be), but at this point I would be very surprised if it’s not him.”
An Instagram account shared the news that Greg’s uncle replied to Steve. The now-deleted tweet said, “You are wrong. They offered it to Greg but he declined. Yes they wanted him. It will be Andrew.” While he did delete those comments, the speculated uncle also said in another reply, “Well then be prepared to be “surprised.”
At this point, there is no proof that the response actually came from Greg’s uncle. However, speculation remains it was him.

Mike Fleiss reacts to fans
The Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss has been tweeting cryptic posts per usual. Fans are wondering what he’s talking about. In one tweet he said, “Our casting choice for your next #TheBachelor will unite #BachelorNation and solve all of the world’s problems…”
In his latest tweet about The Bachelor he said, “When selecting #TheBachelor, the most important qualification is sincerity.”
At this point who knows if Greg Grippo is or isn’t the next Bachelor…..
Another piece of information pointing towards Greg being named The Bachelor was also shared by an Instagram Account. The information said that Justin revealed to friends that Greg WILL be named The Bachelor 2022. According to the message, Justin Glaze used to date a mutual friend and shared the information with them. Plus, in a side note, they shared Justin is planning a move to New York City. More on that to come soon when more information surfaces!
