A man has reached the impressive milestone of 100million on video-sharing platform TikTok.
This is despite never saying a word in any of his clips.
Khaby Lame, 21, who is known as @khaby.lame on the site, shares comedy videos where he reacts to certain situations with hilarious expressions.
And with one funny video after another, his followers began to grow. In less than 17 months, Khaby has quickly become one of the most recognised and loved TikTok creators globally.
Khaby, who was born in Senegal and moved to Chivasso, Italy with his family when he was a year old, first started on the platform during a particularly difficult time in his life.
Italy was in lockdown and he had just lost his job because of Covid, and he wanted to make the most out of his situation.
Khaby decided to turn it into an opportunity to achieve his dream of making people laugh, so started his TikTok account.
Talking to TikTok about what inspired his wordless humour, he said it was Will Smith movies, as well as comedians such as Eddie Murphy and Omar Sy, along with cartoons.
Reacting to his success on the platform he said: “I’m grateful and happy about it, but I always remain down-to-earth and true to my original idea of making videos to have fun and make others laugh. I consider myself a simple guy.”
Giving tips to others who wants to be successful on TikTok, Khaby said you have to really like what you do and “love who you are”.
Meanwhile, on reaching the milestone number of followers, he said: “I am honoured to have achieved this milestone, made possible by the global TikTok community.
“I am passionate about entertaining and making people laugh since childhood, and I am thankful to TikTok for offering me a global stage to share my passion with the rest of the world.
“I will continue to work towards my dreams, knowing I can count on a beautiful community ready to cheer me on. Thank you and I love you all!”
