Hallmark Channel & Broadway Star Laura Osnes Denies Being Fired Over Vaccine Refusal

Laura Osnes is known for her role in the Hallmark Channel Christmas movie, One Royal Holiday. She will also be appearing in a new Hallmark film this fall. However, the actress is also a Broadway musical star. News recently did the rounds that Osnes had been fired from a musical production due to not having been vaccinated.

Laura Osnes Denied Being Fired

Laura Osnes has starred in the Hallmark Christmas movie, One Royal Holiday. She has also starred in A Killer Party: A Murder Mystery Musical, Dynasty, A Homecoming for the Holidays, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and many more.

Osnes has also featured in a number of Broadway musicals, including South Pacific, Bandstand and Bonnie and Clyde. However, after reports claimed that Osnes had been fired from a one-night benefit concert in East Hampton NY, due to her refusal to get a COVID-19 vaccine, she has spoken up in denial.

aura was set to perform in the August 29 production of song selections from a planned Broadway revival of the musical Crazy for You. The production is scheduled to happen at the Guild Hall in East Hampton and is directed by Susan Stroman.

Vaccine Drama

Last week, the New York Post reported that Osnes was fired from the show after refusing to get vaccinated. Laura has denied the claim that she was fired, stating that the report was inaccurate. She made a post on Instagram, where she claims she withdrew from the production after finding out that safety “protocols had changed.”

In the post, included below, Laura wrote that she was disappointed, but responded that she would have to withdraw, as she had not yet had the vaccine.
