How did DaBaby’s brother pass away?
DaBaby’s brother Glenn passed away on November 3rd in Charlotte, North Carolina. As reported by TMZ, he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, taking his own life.
The outlet further adds that earlier that day, Glenn had taken a video of himself, which showed him sitting in a car with a gun. The snippet was later seen by his family.

In the video, Glenn reportedly talks about being wronged in the past. Shortly after this, he committed suicide. DaBaby had also broken his silence about his brother’s death.
The rapper said at that time: “My brother be thinkin’ that we don’t love him and let him struggle like we ain’t family. Like I won’t give up all I got to see you, n****.”
Tribute for Glenn Johnson explored
On Aug 9, DaBaby shared a couple of tribute messages for his brother on the occasion of his birthday. Calling it “GDAY,” the rapper wrote: “Happy MF Birthday to my Big Brother Glenn! I MISS you ni**a! I’m celebrating for you all day! these bitch ass ni***s say I’m too real for em.”
Meanwhile, on his Instagram story, DaBaby wrote: “Happy birthday to my big brother. Love you forever, think about you daily. Call me selfish but I still ain’t forgive ya. Long live Glenn.”

What did the rapper say at Rolling Loud?
As DaBaby mourns the death of his brother, he has also been facing a lot of backlash for his Rolling Loud comments. On Aug 8, it was reported that due to his remarks, Kanye West had removed the rapper’s song from his upcoming album.
At Rolling Loud, DaBaby had made a statement that read: “If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up. Ladies, if your pu**y smell like water, put your cellphone lighter up. Fellas, if you ain’t sucking d**k in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up.”
Shortly after this, Twitter tried to ‘cancel’ him. DaBaby eventually came forward and apologized. However, his statement did not make a difference. As of now, DaBaby has not commented further on the incident.
