The veteran actor Val Kilmer has had a long and lucrative career in Hollywood since the 1980s, starring in blockbuster features like Top Gun, Batman Forever and The Doors.

Most of Kilmer’s profits have come from his professional career as an actor, receiving his big break playing Ice in Tony Scott’s 1986 hit Top Gun, alongside Tom Cruise.

Directed by Ting Poo and Leo Scott with executive producer duties fulfilled by Ben Cotner, the documentary premiered at the Cannes Film Festival this year, which received a standing ovation from attendees.
