It’s a mission to keep Britain’s biggest family fed.
With 22 kids, Sue and Noel Radford really have their work cut out for them.
On an episode of Channel 5 documentary 22 Kids and Counting, the Lancashire-based parents revealed they spend £400 a week on food.
Sue explained: “We go through 16 pints of milk a day, two to three loaves of bread. If we were having sausages for a meal, we’d have maybe 48-56 sausages.
“We’ve got to get lots more than any average family would need.
“I would say that we spend £350-£400 a week on shopping. It’s just massive, it’s never-ending.”
With this in mind, it’s no surprise that it’s a struggle to fit the food shop into the fridge.
Sue recently shared a picture of the family’s huge £1,500 LG refrigerator.
Inside, you could see six 2L bottles of milk, stacks of mince meat and four family-size blocks of cheese.
The Radfords also had so much fruit and veg they couldn’t fit it into one compartment.
Oranges, apples and melons spilled onto the side shelves near juice and milk.
For snacking, the Radfords also stocked up on Milkybars, Petits Filous Nesquik Milk Slices and Dairylea Snackers.
And Sue admitted the hefty food shop probably wouldn’t even stretch that far.
She admitted: “Love refill day. Not that this will last long in this house!”
Sue and her husband Noel, 50, have 22 children between them including Chris, 31, Sophie, 27, Chloe, 25, Jack, 23, Daniel, 21, Luke, 20, Millie, 19, Katie, 18, James, 17, Ellie, 15, Aimee, 14, Josh, 13, Max, 12, Tillie, 10, Oscar, nine, Casper, eight, Hallie, five, Phoebe, four, Archie, three, Bonnie, two, and Heidie, one.
