The long-awaited IPL 2020 auction is upon us. Eight teams will try to complete the 73 available spaces to complete their squad for the next edition of the Indian Premier League. A total of 332 players, of the original 997 registered players, will be auctioned for the slot machines available. Auctions are held for the first time in the city of Kolkata.
The auction for the 13th season of the Indian Premier League will take place in Kolkata on December 19 (Thursday). Although the auction is a mini-auction, some teams are expected to participate in bidding wars for some top-level names in the T20 cricket.
186 Indians, 143 foreigners and three players from the associated playing nations from the list of players to be auctioned.
Royal Challengers Bangalore has six slot machines for foreign players, most for any team. They are closely followed by the capitals of Delhi with five. RCB also has 12 spaces available, most for any equipment in this auction. Kings XI Punjab has 42.7 million ruptures remaining in the bag and is followed by KKR with 35.65 million rupees. Rajasthan Royals and RCB have 28.9 and 27.9 crores remaining purse.

The IPL 2020 auction can be broadcast live on Hotstar and will be broadcast live on the Star Sports network starting at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 19.

Star Sports Network will broadcast the live broadcast of the IPL 2020 auction in India. The one-day event will air on Star Sports 1 Hindi / 1 HD Hindi, Star Sports First, Star Sports 1 Tamil, Star Sports 1 Telugu, Star Sports 1 Kannada, Star Sports 1 Bangla and Star Sports Dugout.
While the auction will begin at 03:30 PM on Thursday, the pre-show is likely to start at 02:30 PM on the aforementioned television channels.
