Jennifer Lawrence pregnant with first baby two years after star-studded wedding

Jennifer Lawrence is pregnant with her first child with husband Cooke Maroney.

The 31-year-old is expecting two years after she married Cooke, 37, in a star-studded wedding.

Jennifer’s rep confirmed the news to PEOPLE on Wednesday.

The Hollywood actress and art dealer were first linked romantically in June 2018 and became engaged the following February.

The couple tied the knot on October 19, 2019 in Rhode Island.

The Hunger Games star and Cooke held a star-studded wedding reception with a guest list that included famous pals Adele, Emma Stone, Amy Schumer and Kris Jenner.

The ceremony was held at the Belcourt of Newport estate – a mansion in Newport that was designed by American architect Richard Morris Hunt in 1894.

Jennifer has been notoriously private about her romantic life with Cooke.

Back in 2019, she gushed about her husband while talking to Catt Sadler on her podcast Naked with Catt Sadler.

Jennifer called Cooke “the greatest human I’ve ever met, ” adding: “He really is, and he gets better.”

She was also asked why she chose to marry Cooke, with Jennifer responding: “I don’t know, I started with the basics: ‘How do I feel? Is he nice? Is he kind?’

“It’s just — this is the one, I know that sounds really stupid but he’s just, he’s — you know. He’s the greatest person I’ve ever met, so I feel very honored to become a Maroney.”

According to Entertainment Tonight, Jennifer told host Heather McMahan that Cooke allows her to have sleepovers with friends.

She said: “I never know the end of the hangout. Like, I’m married and I have slumber parties like once a week.

“My friend came over [last night] and it was not planned, but she ended up spending the night and we slept in my bed and my husband slept in our guest.”

The actress continued: “He knows the drill. My best friend in the entire world, we used to have sleepovers all the time.

“Then she got married when we were pretty young. I was like, 24 and I was like, ‘Well, I understand. It’s going to change. You’re going to get married.’ She was like, ‘Oh, it’s not.’ And we still, to this day – she’s been married for seven years – we love a girly slumber.”
