Fivio Foreign Says Kanye West Compared Him To Jay Z
Fivio Foreign was recently a guest on a radio show where the rapper delivered some impressive and also some behind the scenes information about his feature on Kanye’s Donda album.
Fivio is on Ye’s song “Off The Grid” which is widely regarded as one of the best songs on the album. And according to Fivio, him and Kanye are really good friends.
The Brooklyn rapper has his project on the way, titled, “the Bible,” and apparently Kanye is playing a big role on the album. After their Donda recording session the two went out to dinner and Fivio asked him the question “who do I remind you of?”
“He like, ‘I don’t know. That’s a good question, right?’ So boom, question done or whatever… So we start eating or whatever, boom, boom, he just said, ‘I don’t know.’ We ain’t worrying about it too much but then it’s like something hit him.”
Fivio continued, “He’s like, ‘Yo, I got it — HOV,’” Fivio recounted. “I’m like, ‘Hov?’ He’s like, ‘HOV!’”
It’s a privilege for Fivio to be compared to such a legend like Jay Z. Both are putting on for the Brooklyn and it seems Kayne West and Jay Z’s relationship have grown over the years.
