KELLY Clarkson had a great night with friends and Blake Shelton after jumping on stage to sing with him.
The singer enjoyed a night off from thinking about her bitter divorce battle with ex Brandon Blackstock as she surprised fans to sing a duet with her fellow The Voice judge, Blake Shelton.
Kelly posted a selfie with some friends from the crowd of Blake’s show in Denver, Colorado on Friday night.
“Get it @blakeshelton we are LIVIN’ OUR BEST LIVES!!! THANK YOU ❤️❤️❤️,” Kelly captioned the post.
Her fans loved the pic which showed a beaming Kelly who recently decided to leave her husband, Brendan, because she “couldn’t trust” him.
“I love seeing you happy and living your best life! God bless you doll! 😍,” one fan wrote.
Another added: “Beautiful girls ❤️.”
And a third wrote: “❤️How Fun! Enjoy Kelly! You all Look Beautiful 👍❤️.”
The 39-year-old singer announced her divorce in June 2020 after seven years of marriage.
In the year since the split, Kelly has been very open about her nasty divorce battle and how hard it’s been on her and the two kids she shares with her ex Brandon.
A source shared with Us Weekly that what it ended up boiling down to was the loss of trust in their relationship.
The insider said: “She could no longer trust Brandon, and she felt that Brandon was just using her for her money and lifestyle.
“She had tremendous resentment toward him. She just wasn’t willing to look the other way anymore.”
As they continue to hash out their divorce, a judge decided she has to dish out $150,000 per month in spousal support to Brandon, along with around $45,000 a month for child support.
But her ex will be the one paying for the upkeep of their sprawling Montana ranch, which costs around $81,000 a month to run.
Kelly, who previously asked the court to terminate his ability to seek spousal support, has an impressive monthly income more than $1.5million, while her ex is earning around $10,000 a month.
New court documents seen by The Sun show Brandon has given up on showbiz life since their split.
He is now a full-time rancher, despite still representing county singer Blake.
According to the new source, Kelly dealt with a lot of “pain” becaue of her marriage, ultimately deciding she needed to get out of it.
The insider continued: “The marriage was really, really awful at the end. She had a lot of questions that he just couldn’t answer.
“She hasn’t and won’t ever look back. Kelly has no regrets about filing for divorce.
“She only stuck it out for as long as she did for her kids.”
Previously, a source had shared with the outlet that “their relationship had been on the rocks for a long time” and that Brandon was “extremely jealous” of all of his wife’s success.
The insider added: “Kelly doesn’t take credit for her success but shares it with the team she works with. It’s just who she is.”
She can now “finally enjoy her success without feeling ashamed,” the source continued.
