As we reported last night, Kody Brown actually stole a photo and an idea from Dr. Now of My 600-Lb. Life. The TLC father shared a photo HOURS after Dr. Now did on his own Instagram. The photo revealed he was having a 25 percent off sale on his Cameos for the rest of the week. Those who follow Dr. Now know he made the same promise to his followers hours before. The key difference is Dr. Now has significantly more followers than Kody Brown does. Likewise, there were a lot of comments from fans actually interested in getting a video from Dr. Now. Most Sister Wives fans reacting to Kody’s post consider him to be a walking joke.
Turns out, Cameo as a whole is offering a 25 percent off discount across the platform. So, this wasn’t just a sale Dr. Now and/or Kody Brown decided to offer fans out of the goodness of their hearts. But, Kody Brown did follow right behind Dr. Now in promoting the sale on his Instagram account.
Those who have been following Sister Wives news know Kody Brown joined Cameo earlier this month. Turns out, he isn’t actually participating in the 25 percent off sale across the Cameo platform. In fact, he’s just scamming his fans and followers into believing he is.

Now, this isn’t the same as when Tammy Slaton scammed 1000-Lb. Sisters fans on Cameo. She was crucified for not actually completing her orders. Though she insisted on other social media platforms she did not get paid until she completed the orders. So, she wasn’t really scamming anyone of anything. There, however, were customers who told a very different story. That they paid but did not receive a video.
If you pay for a Cameo from Kody Brown, you will receive a Cameo from him. But, you are not getting that 25 percent off discount he’s promising. In fact, Kody Brown raised his Cameo price so the 25 percent discount across the site just knocks his price back down to what it was before the sale. So, Sister Wives fans buying a Cameo from Kody Brown now are just getting scammed. There is no discount to take advantage of. He raised his price just enough to make sure of that.
