La La Anthony is loving her recently purchased Brooklyn brownstone — and the single life that goes along with it.
“Yes, it’s a new place where Kiyan and I are loving and enjoying it. It has been really great,” she told Page Six while sitting front row with her son Kiyan for Teyana Taylor’s PrettyLittleThing fashion show at Gotham Hall Thursday night.
“It is expensive, but we live in New York. I’m used to it; I’m from New York, I know how it goes.”
Anthony, 41, says she is now more mindful of her budget, but, “When you work hard you got to give yourself a little room to enjoy it and have fun. So during Fashion Week, I spend money and I love to be able to go to shows with Kiyan and have fun with him.”
Anthony split from NBA player Carmelo Anthony, 37, in June after 16 years of marriage. They filed for divorce in June citing irreconcilable differences.
However, she was happy to come out and celebrate her friend, Harlem native Taylor, on her new fashion venture.
“I just love Teyana, that’s my family. She’s edgy, she’s cool. What she’s done with PrettyLittleThing — I love the collab. So I am just excited to see all the fun stuff they’re going to bring to the runway.”
As for giving her tomboy-chic sweats a break in exchange for fitted dresses and six-inch heels during Fashion Week, Anthony said, “It’s a new glow.”
“My feet are all right right now,” she added. “Come back in an hour, it might be a different story.”
Also at the show were Chanel Iman, Jasmine Sanders, Swae Lee and “RHONJ” star Jennifer Aydin. Tokyo Stylez was the evening’s “special guest catwalk model” and music was supplied by DJ Cassidy and a guest performance by Lil Durk.
