RuPaul’s Drag RaceUK winner Lawrence Chaney claims she ‘manifested’ for a Scottish BAFTA nomination with a special outfit ahead of the announcement.

The Glasgow born talent was left almost speechless after finding out she was in the running for an Audience Award at this year’s ceremony alongside It’s a Sin actor David Carlyle, Jean Johansson of A Place in the Sun, Des star David Tennant and Line of Duty’s Kelly Macdonald and Martin Compston.

The award gives members of the public an opportunity to vote for their favourite Scot on screen over the last 12 months.

Before announcing the good news to fans Lawrence said: “Guys, GUYS!”
