Love Is Blind couples had a lot of ups and downs during their run on the first season. And even though Giannina Gibelli and Damian Powers didn’t get married on the show, the pair stayed together and continued to date. They seemed to be pretty on and off again, even up until the reunion special.
But now, Giannina confirms the pair split up. It appears the drama didn’t end with the reunion special when Damian brought Francesca Farago as his plus one.

Netflix subscribers might recognize Francesca from her time on another popular show, Too Hot To Handle.
Francesca and Damian apparently became close friends sometime in the past few years. Last August, paparazzi snapped photos of the pair leaving a restaurant together. However, Damian adamantly declared there wasn’t any romantic connection there. But even so, fans speculated there really was.
“Over the past week, I have been in L.A. with my attorney, Alex Ion, pursuing new projects and business ventures. Francesca and I both share the same attorney,” Damian told ET at the time.
But during the reunion special, it really seemed like there was something more there. After a dramatic confrontation between Giannina and Francesca, things never seemed to get better. Today, Giannina and Damian are definitely no longer together.
She’s single and living her best life
Giannina and Damian may be officially over, but she’s not crying about it. In fact, she really seems to be living her best life.
“I am officially single,” Giannina told ET. “Me and Damian haven’t been dating for a couple of months now. I’ve moved on. I feel really, really good. I’m definitely at a really good place in my life.”
The Love Is Blind star went on to say that Netflix filmed the reunion special last fall so the pair had plenty of time to move on.
“For the first time in like three years I feel like I don’t have to keep some sort of my life private anymore,” Giannina continued. “We were just under wraps about everything. I was still trying to figure out, how does my life look without him in it? It’s been a long time but I feel really good. I’ve processed it all. I’m such at peace.”
Their relationship may have been rocky, but Giannina doesn’t regret her time with Damian.
“We had some really great moments in our relationship. Like some of my best memories, ever … but at the end of the day, we just weren’t as compatible as we should have been after dating for two years,” she told ET. “If the relationship isn’t easy and you’re kind of arguing over these little things, things that you should have moved on from, it’s just like, ‘All right. What’s happening?’”
