‘LPBW:’ Caryn Chandler’s Son Connor Pleads Guilty – What Happened?

The Little People, Big World family is going through some legal trouble with Caryn Chandler‘s son Connor. Caryn is dating Matt Roloff.

Connor was arrested on January 11, 2020 and was charged with two counts of harassment against his mom. In May, he was charged with additional charges, including “attempted use of physical force or the threatened use of a deadly weapon” and “did unlawfully and intentionally damage property, the property of Caryn Chandler.”

When the charges were filed, he pleaded not guilty. During his trial in August, he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor criminal mischief, The Sun reports. His other charges were dropped.

According to the court papers,  “On or about 1/11/2020, did unlawfully and intentionally damage property, the property of Caryn Chandler, the said defendant having no right to do so nor reasonable grounds to believe that the said defendant had such right.”

Connor was able to avoid jail time, but he has received 18 months of bench probation, must complete 48 hours of community service, pay $200 in fees, and was ordered to have “no offensive touching” with his mother.

Caryn Chandler becomes a first-time grandma!

As we reported, Connor and his girlfriend Ashlee welcomed their first baby to the world. He was born shortly before Connor’s trial.

While the Roloff grandchildren call Caryn “Cha Cha,” the new baby is her first official grandchild. She shared an update on Instagram after the baby’s arrival, writing, “I’m a Grandma ! Sweet baby Liam Joseph Chandler arrived Sunday August 22nd (2 weeks early). A bouncing 6lbs 12 oz of pure joy. My heart… is bursting ! 💙”

Connor has had his fair share of legal troubles.

Last August, Connor was busted for “wild partying in motel.” After a drug battle, he revealed that he was sober as of 2018. In a Facebook post, he talked about his addiction and how it affected him.

He wrote:

“I went through 8 Impatient Rehabs, 8 outpatient treatment centers, 2 group homes, 17 times in jail, 3 warrants, 12 hospital visits for overdose, and 4 friends death from overdose before i finally got myself clean. Mom, im so sorry. I took you through hell and back with my past addiciton [sic]. But just know, its over, and that thats never going to change, i will continue to do good and stay sober for the rest of my life.”

Hopefully, now that Connor is a father, he is able to turn a corner and stay out of trouble.
