Marti Pellow brings out ‘No Marti No Party’ merchandise and hits out at unofficial replicas

Marti Pellow has hit out at online retailers who are making replicas of his new merchandise.

The former Wet Wet Wet singer took to Instagram to reveal his brand new ‘No Marti No Party’ t-shirts but it wasn’t long before he had to take to the comments to warn fans about unofficial merchandise being sold on the internet.

He wrote: “Please note: we have received reports of someone selling unofficial No Marti No Party t-shirts online. These are not official and are likely a scam. If you see any links in the comments to buy these t-shirts please report the account. These t-shirts will be on sale soon and only available through Marti’s official website. MP Official x.”

And fans were quick to comment on the post saying they loved the new merch.

One wrote: “Marti , there is never a party without you, and now everyone knows it, as your party is going ahead! I love the T shirt, but how much for the one you are wearing? couldn’t love you anymore.”

Another added: “Omg I love it. I want one.”



Marti told fans to watch out for fakes

While one said: “Hahaha you’re mad.Love the T-shirt.”

Just last week, Marti couldn’t resist paying a musical tribute to the River Clyde on Glasgow home trip.

Marti was by Glasgow’s Clydeside when he decided to perform a litte ditty to the stretch of river that runs along the city and beyond.

The 56-year-old chose to sing Song of the Clyde, popularised by Kenneth McKellar which is an affectionate tribute to the large stretch of water, and name-checks the majority of towns and villages on its banks.



Marti revealed his new merch.

He began singing: “Oh the river Clyde, the wonderful Clyde The name of it thrills me and fills me with pride, Oh the river Clyde, the wonderful Clyde,The name of it thrills me and fills me with pride.”

It was clear Clydebank born Marti was happy to be on home turf and fans were delighted to see him smiling.

One said: “Gone yersel marti that smile says how much ye love being bk hame love it.”

Another added: “Can you get me some square sausage , and a plain loaf and drop it off to me in Manchester on the way back.”

Someone else said: “Man you are happy to be home!!!…ahh that was great ! Now I have a big smile as well ! Love you Marti !”



Marti Pellow was glad to be back in his homeland by the River Clyde

Marti is due to play Aberdeen Music Hall on November 11, Hamilton Town House on November 14 and Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on November 15.
