Mike Fleiss Says ‘No Official Decision’ Made In Regards To ‘The Bachelor’

It’s that time of year again. Bachelor in Paradise premiered this week. So, fans are anxious to know which lucky man could be considered for the next Bachelor lead. Today, Reality Steve broke the news that one man is heading towards landing the role. Fans are reacting to the news. Since Steve’s announcement, Mike Fleiss went to Twitter to say there’s been no definite decision made just yet. However, many don’t believe him. What is going on and what did the tweets say?

Mike Fleiss teases more on The Bachelor role

Mike Fleiss went to Twitter to tease fans a little bit more. He first sent out tweets earlier this week teasing fans. He indicated the announcement for The Bachelor would be made soon. Monday, Fleiss said, “Waiting for final approval for the major announcement… Who will be your next #TheBachelor ???#BachelorInParadise.”

Next he said, “All I can tell you right now is that #BachelorNation will be very happy! Well, maybe not everybody… #TheBachelor.” Could that last tweet have been a hint of what’s to come?

Today, Reality Steve said he’s been hearing over the past five days that Greg Grippo will be named the new Bachelor. Could that really be true?

Following Steve’s announcement, Fleiss went to Twitter and said, “Major announcement regarding #TheBachelor !!! No official decision has been made… Stay tuned.”

He followed up that tweet with another. It said, “These decisions regarding our next #TheBachelor are complicated.”

Fan response is against the rumors

Fans are not liking the rumors about Greg becoming The Bachelor. Many feel he was disrespectful to Katie Thurston. Plus, they feel he needs to work on himself. Greg even admitted to Nick Viall that he started therapy again and has work to do. Could he really be ready for a committed relationship?

Are these rumors true or could it be a decoy from fans guessing who the real lead will be? Production has pulled a fast one before and changed their minds at the last minute. Many fans are hoping to see Michael Allio or Andrew Spencer take the leading role. Many even hoped to see Tyler Cameron handing out roses.

A few fans on Twitter even noted they would be happier watching Peter Weber again over Greg Grippo.

The announcement for The Bachelor will most likely be happening sometime this month. The 2022 season will start filming after Michelle Young wraps up production for her season somewhere around September 10.

What do you think about all the rumors? Who do you hope gets the opportunity?

Stay tuned for more updates.
