Mortifying moment woman’s graduation is ruined by embarrassing bowel issue text

Since lockdown started in March 2020, students have missed out on the true ‘university’ experience.

Now well and truly out of any lockdowns, uni grads are finally being able to graduate in person to finally celebrate their big achievements.

With the ceremony still inaccessible to some, universities have opted to record the ceremonies so family members can witness the big moment and keep it preserved in video form.

This one Cambridge grad had the bright idea of asking her brother to screen record the ceremony so she could watch back the proud moment.

However, not all went according to plan.

Posting to TikTok under the username @7tabbi, Tabitha revealed how her idea went horribly wrong.

In the video, Tabitha can be seen looking less than pleased with her hand placed on her forehead.

Tabitha took to TikTok to share the mortifying moment

She added text to the clip that said: “Asked my brother to screen record my graduation live stream and this happened.”

Thinking this would be a quick and easy way to capture her graduating from the top university, Tabitha trusted her brother with the task.

How wrong she was.

The next clip shows Tabitha and fellow soon to be graduates waiting for their name to be called in the formal ceremony.

Eagerly waiting to step forward, the moment is ruined by a rather unsavoury message that popped up on her brother’s phone while screen recording.

The big moment was ruined by one text

In painfully unfortunate timing, just before her name is called a message from a ‘Sam Bing’ pops up detailing some rather embarrassing bowel issues.

Mortifyingly, the text read: “Ed, I s*** myself again…”

Well, we guess that’s one way to remember your graduation!

The awkward moment has now racked up 1.8 million views and 223,000 likes.

Finding the graduation ceremony hilarious, people took to the comments to have their say on the viral video.

One person commented: “I SPAT ON MY PHONE.”

Another user added: “Sam should go see a doctor.”

While, a third person said: “Honestly I think it enhanced the graduation video massively.”

Someone else noted: “Excuse me. What does he mean. AGAIN!!”

We don’t know who to feel more sorry for, Sam or Tabbitha!
