Mum in hysterics over six-year-old daughter’s sassy attempt to get out of PE

LET’S be honest – if you’re not naturally gifted at sports, then you probably didn’t enjoy P.E lessons growing up.

But while you can always rely on “forgetting you kit” to get out of netball, one sassy six-year-old left her mum in hysterics with her failed attempt.

Posting on the Facebook group Family Lowdown Tips & Ideas, mum Siobhan McIelland shared a photo of the hilarious sick note her daughter used to try and skip the lesson.

Writing on a piece of crumpled paper, the youngster pretended to be her mum to excuse herself from school.

It read: “Sorry Myla can’t do PE today.

“She is sic.

“From Myla’s mum.”

Despite her best efforts, Myla’s teacher sadly saw through the note and called her bluff.

But at the end of the day, they handed it over to Siobhan who saw the funny side and shared it with the group’s 1.1m members.

She added: “SHE DID NOT DO P.E, SHE GOT TO SIT OUT THE FULL TIME AND WAS BUZZING ABOUT IT!”

And unsurprisingly, the hilarious note inspired other parents to share the creative ways their kids have used to get out of things they didn’t want to do.

One replied: “This is 100% legit!! I would let her off just coz of her efforts! Well done.”

Another added: “My daughter gave the high school her own number instead of mine because she can mimic my Scottish accent to a tee (we live in wales).

“She got away with it , I never had a clue till she told me when she had left school…”

Meanwhile, a third said: “This shows great initiative! This child is going places. I’m a teacher and I would find this hilarious if one of my class did this!”
