Isaac Kearney, three, went viral on social media after lip-syncing and even drumming along to the famous pre-chorus interlude of the Phil Collins classic ‘In The Air Tonight’
A music-loving toddler went viral after lip-syncing along to his favourite Phil Collins song – as well as ‘air drumming’ the famous interlude.
Isaac Kearney was born with the rare genetic disorder Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome, leaving him to develop slower than other children his age.
But the three-year-old, who is obsessed with Phil Collins, has no problem copying his hero as he lip-syncs along to the Phil Collins classic ‘In The Air Tonight’.
Isaac knows every single word and even drums along to the famous pre-chorus interlude.
Melissa, 29, a health care assistant, from Liverpool, said: “This video was taken on our way home from a long day of shopping in Liverpool town centre.
“Isaac had actually fallen asleep in the car on the way home and his song ‘In the air Tonight’ come on the radio.
“Straight away his eyes wide open and started singing along so I got my camera out. He was half asleep on the video, but nothing was stopping him perform his favourite song.
“His dad was driving in the front so missed the whole performance, but we’ve watched it that many times it’s the ‘norm’ for us. I was just videoing to show his nanny and grandad when we got home.
“I always do that when Isaacs performing, I video it because he loves going to ‘nanny’s house’ and watching it back with his nan and granddad.
“Isaac absolutely loves watching Phil Collins on YouTube play his drums and sing. He would be delighted if he saw him perform live. I can just picture him now with his drum actions watching Phil live.
“Isaac is the most fun, outgoing, brave, clever, caring, cheekiest little boy. He lives for music. He will chat with anyone, and he comes out with the funniest little phrases to make people laugh.
“He is a real character. He loves all the attention; this encourages him more when he notices people watching him.
“He is the best big brother to his baby sister Florence. He is so caring towards her; he loves sharing his toys and often sings her songs before bedtime at night. Isaac is a mummy’s boy. Although he is going through a phase of calling me ‘Melissa’ rather than mummy.
“We act silly together and I often find myself dancing around the room with him to Tina Turner or Michael Jackson. He loves for me and his dad to get involved in his performances. We are so close, inseparable.
“I am not sure what I want people to take away from this video, but what I will say is since sharing Isaacs performances I get a lot of messages from people telling me how Isaacs videos are getting them through their ‘darkest days’.
