NBA Rumors:5 late-offseason trades we’d like to see around the NBA

NBA Analysis Network

The NBA offseason has flown by. Following the Milwaukee Bucks victory over the Phoenix Suns in the 2021 NBA Finals, there has been plenty of player movement around the league as teams put themselves in a position to be in the finals next year.

The 2021 NBA Draft had plenty of trades completed, as teams moved up and down the board, adding players and clearing cap space for free agency. In NBA free agency, the player movement didn’t stop, as there were a ton of deals agreed to.

While there have been a lot of signings, there haven’t been as many blockbuster trades. Thus far, the biggest name we have seen traded is Russell Westbrook, who the Washington Wizards traded to the Los Angeles Lakers on draft night.

We came into the offseason with the possibility of multiple All-Stars being on the move. Damian Lillard, Bradley Beal and Ben Simmons are some of the names that have been mentioned as possible trade targets since the offseason began.

With a lot of the available salary-cap money already being spent, the biggest free-agent signings are likely behind us. However, there could still be some big moves this offseason via trades.

What trades could still happen? Here are five swaps we’d still love to see occur this offseason in the NBA.
