After the successful interpretation by Henry Cavil, The adaption of ‘Witcher’ by Netflix was one of the most appreciated series in 2019. The show is based on the book ‘Witcher’, written by Andrzej, and the CD Projekt RPG series.
After a successful ending of season 1 on many cliffhangers, people are very excited for the second season of the show.
Netflix Witcher Season 2 Release Date
The second season of ‘Witcher’ is under production and it has also been confirmed that the show will have a third season too. On August 17, 2020 cast of ‘Witcher’ met and started filming the second season but eventually had to stop because four of the crew members tested positive.
It has been finalized that the second season of the show will be released in 2021 but the date has not been decided yet.

Geralt of Rivia takes Princess Cirilla to Kaer Morhen which is the safest place he knows after he is convinced that Yennefer died in the Battle of Sodden. He is trying to protect the girl from all the powers that she possesses. Meanwhile, demons, humans, elves, and continent kings are fighting for Supremacy.
The second season will show us the deeper stories of Cahir and Fringilla, who are the villains of the show according to Lauren Hissrich who is the showrunner.
The plot is expected to be mostly linear. Now, as all the characters are in the same timeline so the story will become easy to follow. There will be few flashbacks from Geralt’s life.
