New Real Housewives Mash-Up Show In The Works Starring Dorinda Medley And Other Former Housewives

When Bravo announced a Real Housewives All Stars limited series, I was thrilled. Cast members from different franchises stayed together in a house in Turks and Caicos while the cameras captured all the drama. The series will air on Peacock, NBC’s streaming platform. Of course, there were some…interesting choices.

Luann de Lesseps and Ramona Singer were selected from Real Housewives of New York. Kyle Richards represented Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Real Housewives of Atlanta peaches Kenya Moore and Cynthia Bailey packed their bags. Real Housewives of New Jersey “OG” Teresa Giudice and her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, were also chosen for the tropical get-away.

According to Daily Mail, Bravo has a new mash-up series in the works. And it will be a real blast from the past. That’s right–the cast will be comprised of former Housewives. A production source said that the cast will be led by RHONY alum Dorinda Medley.

Dorinda was fired from the show last season. She repeatedly attacked co-star Tinsley Mortimer. Dorinda was abrasive and not at all like the woman viewers met when she joined the franchise for Season 7.
But Andy Cohen hoped that she would return to RHONY. Andy said, “I am really hopeful that this is indeed a pause, and that she will rejoin the show at some point.”

“Viewers love Dorinda and we thought it would be great to have her star in a new show that brings her together with past favorites from other franchises,” a source close to production told Daily Mail. The series will also air on NBC’s streaming platform, Peacock.

So, who will be joining Dorinda? A source said, “The show will see Taylor Armstrong, Jill Zarin, Vicki Gunvalson, Eva Marcille, Brandi Glanville, and Phaedra Parks who will hang with Dorinda at a top-secret location.” I’m all in for this spinoff!

Vicki left Real Housewives of Orange County after she was offered a Friend of the Housewives contract for Season 15. Vicki was furious that she wasn’t cast on the Real Housewives All Stars. I’m sure there is a triumphant “Woohoo!” echoing in the O.C. right now.

RHONY “OG” Jill held an apple for the first four seasons of the show. She filmed with Dorinda when she appeared as a guest. Jill made it known often that she wanted to return, but she was never offered a spot.

A production source told Daily Mail, “No doubt the drinks will flow, and drama will ensue as the women spend a week together. Each one of these women is television gold and they are all Bravo fan favorites.” Filming on the mash-up show is set to begin in September of 2021.
