A nostalgic Nicolas Cage is “Leaving Las Vegas” — whether he likes it or not.
Cage lost his Las Vegas mansion to foreclosure in 2009 amid revelations that he owed $14 million in unpaid taxes.
Almost a decade later, the “Leaving Las Vegas” star “considered” buying the house back when it was on the market for over $6 million, listing broker Susie Perrine told The Post.
He took two tours of the $6 million home last year and brought his now-wife Riko Shibata, whom he married a month later in Las Vegas, on the second tour, said Perrine.
“He kept talking about how much he loves the home and what happy memories he has there,” Perrine added.
But after seven years on and off the market, the seven-bedroom, 10½-bathroom home Cage shared with ex-wife Alice Kim has been purchased for $6 million, and Cage isn’t the buyer, the deed shows.
The 57-year-old “National Treasure” star bought the marble-floored house for $8.5 million in 2006 while married to Kim.
He lost the 14,300-square-foot home in a December 2009 foreclosure, along with two homes in New Orleans and one in California.
His wave of property foreclosures was due to $14 million in unpaid taxes, according to reports at the time and confirmed by property records.
After the foreclosure, the initial buyer sold the home to an LLC registered to a Nebraska construction company owner, which spent $4.5 million on the home in January 2012, records show.
Today, the beige-decorated home has a commercial elevator, a 10-car garage, a media room, an office and a game room, according to Realtor.com. Cage especially reacted to the home theater on his tour, said Perrine.
“Every time I show the property, I have ‘The Family Man’ turned on in the theater room. When he saw that, he said ‘Oh wow!’ I told him he needs to make more movies like this one,” Perrine told The Post.
The 3,000-square-foot primary bedroom suite has a bathroom, a steam room, a sauna and a walk-in closet, according to Realtor.com.
The basement has a kitchenette, staff quarters, a game room and a storage room, according to the listing.
The 0.36-acre lot offers panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip and city vistas, according to the listing.
The buyer, Sarah Greenberg of Realty ONE Group, Inc., represented herself in the transaction but did not respond to a request for comment.
For the “Moonstruck” star, Las Vegas was a place to brawl, a place to drink and a place to get married.
Cage, who recently starred in “Willy’s Wonderland” and “Pig,” shares a 15-year-old son Kal-El with his ex-wife Alice Kim and a 30-year-old son Weston with ex-girlfriend Christina Fulton. He has also previously married Erika Koike, Lisa Marie Presley and Patricia Arquette.
