OUTLANDER’S Caitriona Balfe has given birth to a baby boy.
The Irish star took to social media this morning to confirm she has welcomed her first baby into the world alongside band manager hubby Tony McGill.

The 41-year-old had kept her pregnancy private while she finished filming series six of the time-hopping Starz drama, which wrapped on June 1.
But she told fans today she’s already “in awe” of the tot after sharing an adorable picture of his tiny hand gripping her finger.
Announcing her little bundle of joy on Instagram, Caitriona – who plays Claire Fraser – said: “I’ve been off socials for a while as I was taking some time to enjoy cooking up this little human.

“We are so grateful for this little soul, that he chose us as his parents.
“I’m in awe of him already and can’t help stare and wonder at all the possibilities of who he will become, where he will go and what he’ll do on the big adventure of his life.
“Right now he seems so small and fragile and I constantly think how grateful I am that I live in a place, in a time where he is born into peace and safety.”
Outlander fans have rushed to congratulate the happy couple on their baby news.
One gushed: “What amazing and wonderful news. My heartfelt congratulations to you and your little family.”
Meanwhile, another added: “Oh it’s such a good surprise and good news. Congratulations Caitriona.”
Caitriona and Tony tied the knot back in August 2019 after meeting while she was filming Outlander.
She has previously opened up about wanting her fans to stop asking if she was pregnant, after receiving several tweets in 2019.
At the time, she replied: “To all those who think it’s appropriate to ask, no, I’m not pregnant.”
