Interestingly, Dieng is a player Arsenal have been linked with before.

According to The Sunday Mirror (03/01), Arsenal wanted to sign the  Senegal international in January 2021.

We covered the report here on HITC Sport at the time.

Arsenal transfer happening?

The Blades reportedly looking to sign Dieng this summer indicates Ramdale could join Arsenal.

After all, if United did not want to sell Ramdale at any price, then they would not be looking for a potential replacement.

What Arsenal now need to do is work hard in negotiating a price and then completing the signing of the English goalkeeper as soon as possible.

The new Premier League season starts in a matter of days.
