What’s the story?

Well, according to James Ducker and Matt Law, some players and staff members have been left baffled by Kane’s statement.

The 28-year-old stopped off in Florida on his way back from holidaying in the Bahamas, and is likely to miss the start of Tottenham’s Premier League season.

Spurs could still fine Kane for his actions, although he insists he has done nothing wrong – his statement claims that he will be returning to N17 as planned.

Has Harry Kane burned his bridges?

It’s no wonder that players and staff members at Tottenham have no idea what’s going on with Kane.

Nuno Espirito Santo referred to the matter as a ‘problem‘ which will need to be discussed internally.

However, Kane seems to think there isn’t a problem at all.

That has the potential to cause major dressing room unrest, so it’s vitally important that Kane does more to rebuild his relationship with the fanbase.

If he doesn’t, then Nuno’s Tottenham career will have gotten off to a seriously difficult start – in truth, it already has.
